About Harris-Burrus Family Reunion
The Harris-Burrus Family Reunion was initiated in 2010 by family members in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas, forming what is now known as the DMV Chapter.
They set forth the following as their guiding statement:
Remember that we, too, are the ancestors of those yet unborn, and we should seek to leave for them a heritage of which they can be as proud as we are of that which our forebearers bequeathed to us.
The first Harris-Burrus Family Reunion was held July 2-5, 2010 and headquartered at the Gaylord National Hotel located at 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD 20745.
